HAA Units was started in early 1997,the founder, Dr. Hossam Fathy Ahmed and the Associates are experienced with a combined more than 100 years of experience in the profession.
The HAA team is creative, flexible, and team-oriented, highly motivated and understands how to incorporate today’s technology into their products.
Mission
HAA Units is a design firm that creates site-specific design that is a fusion of sustainability, art and technology .Our focus is on creating environments that reconcile the complex relationships between built and natural systems. The firm is dedicated to creating designs that carry the weight of the idea and celebrates the merging of images with strong ideas to create singular and unique projects.
The firm brings an understanding of the context, cultural aspects plus materials, styles, and tools used in the design process to hone our images and products to best suit our projects and our clients’ needs.
Our particular blend of science, art, and technology is the key to our approach to every project. With 50 years of Hossam and the Associates experience in Egypt and Middle East, they bring an extensive background of expertise to all of our work and is committed to providing responsive and innovative design .This translates into the ability to match the benefits of a larger firm while providing the hands-on quality of a smaller studio environment. The firm’s conceptual capabilities, technical competence and ability to translate design theory into successful built environments enable it to undertake the most challenging projects.
